A violent street fight between a group of man and LGBTQ+ members in Iloilo City was caught on camera and elicits reactions from the online community.
On Monday morning, January 26, 2026, two men and members of the LGBTQ+ community got into a street fight in Barangay Bolilao, Mandurriao District.
In the video, two men were seen approaching a taxi and suddenly opening the passenger door. One of the LGBTQ+ members was seated inside the taxi when the men began hitting them using a car seat.
The sudden attack shocked bystanders and escalated the situation within seconds. Despite being caught off guard, the person inside the taxi fought back by kicking one of the attackers and chasing him.
The confrontation turned into a physical brawl, with punches being thrown until both fell near the side of the road.
The chaos did not stop there. The fight continued as both groups moved toward a nearby store. Inside the establishment, the shouting and physical struggle went on, creating fear among people in the area.
Several residents eventually stepped in to stop the violence. Their quick action helped prevent the situation from becoming more serious.
