– The President expressed his belief that the work-life balance policies will not work on Filipinos citing their hardwork.

. According to him, his doctors advised him to rest but he told them that he cannot do so as there are a lot of works that need to be done.

To somehow do something over the advice of his doctors, the President previously limited his engagements in Malacañang. He had private meetings inside the Palace but was represented by Executive Secretary Ralph Recto and Ilocos Norte Congressman Sandro Marcos in some events.

Marcos Jr. claimed that his doctors are excellent and he was only given antibiotics for his treatment. According to the President, he was diagnosed with diverticulitis, an inflammation of the large intestine. He linked the said condition to stress and aging.

Amid the rumors that the President is allegedly set to undergo an operation, the St. Luke’s Medical Center previously issued a statement to junk the supposed medical report of Marcos Jr. that circulates on social media. The hospital’s management insisted that they treat their patient’s records with confidentiality.

“Alam niyo po, bukod sa malakihang proyekto at iba’t ibang mga programa ng mga pamahalaan, isang bahagi ng trabaho namin ang magpakilala ng mga bagong polisiya,”

Marcos Jr. said.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos stressed that it is the government’s to duty to come up with policies that could help uplift the lives of the people. According to him, you will know that the policy is good if it can realize the goal.

May mga bansa gaya ng Espanya na may local policy na ini-encourage na mag siesta… Maraming bansa gaya ng Pransya ang nag-implement ng “Right to Disconnect” policy. Ibig sabihin mo kailangang sagutin ang tawag ng tao kapag wala sa oras at outside working hours. Hindi bagay sa Pilipinas ‘yan dahil masyadong masipag ang Pilipino kahit anong sabihin mo sasagutin at sasagutin nila ‘yan,”

he expressed.
