During the ride, Narvic said he was feeling emotional and could not help but shed tears as he looked out the window during the ride, despite trying to hold them back.
He recalled that while they were in the Quiapo area of Manila, a fellow commuter began writing something on a piece of paper.
Narvic said he did not notice it at first, as he did not know the individual.
Narvic said the note simply read, “Open,” accompanied by a smiling emoticon.
“Hindi man kilala personal, pero naniniwala ako sayo! Magiging okay ang lahat!” the message reads.
Narvic said he appreciated the gesture, adding that he found it heartwarming.
