Filipinos can now access training programs, scholarships, and employment opportunities through a new mobile application launched by the
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
TESDA on Thursday, February 5, launched the
TESDA Skills Passport
app, which helps Filipinos level up their careers by allowing them to apply for training programs and scholarships, upskill, and search for jobs.
Key features of the app include the Skills Passport for verified TESDA credentials, Job Opportunities for employment matching, Learning Paths for online training access, Scholarships with real-time program availability, and Centers Near Me for locating TESDA-accredited institutions.
TESDA said
the app
is designed to document learner competencies, support personalized learning pathways and connect skills to relevant training and employment opportunities.
Its Job Opportunities feature provides employment listings from partner job platforms and includes a “Find a TESDAn” tool, which allows TESDA graduates to create worker profiles and get matched with jobs and work opportunities based on location, industry, and salary preferences.
The Learning Paths feature provides direct access to the TESDA Online Program (TOP), where users can explore free courses and receive personalized recommendations based on their skills and career goals.
Meanwhile, the Scholarships feature offers real-time access to TESDA scholarship programs synchronized with the Biometric-Enabled Scholarship Registration System (BSRS), allowing users to view scholarships filtered by location or qualification and track their application status directly through the app.
The TESDA Skills Passport app also features
Centers Near Me
, a map-based locator that helps users find TESDA-accredited training, assessment and technology institutions nationwide.
The app also incorporates identity verification and data security safeguards, including PhilSys (Philippine Identification System) validation, the government’s national ID system, to help ensure the accuracy and privacy of learner records.
The app is available on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
TESDA Director General
Kiko Benitez
said the app strengthens the link between training and employment, making Filipino skills more accessible, visible, and globally competitive.
President
Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
also said the app brings skills, training, and job opportunities closer to Filipinos by harnessing technology to make government services more accessible, credible, and future-ready.
