Bong Revilla continues to fight amid his current predicament
This was in connection with his arraignment in a case involving malversation through falsification of public documents. To recall, this was not the first time the actor-politician received complaints.
In 2018, Revilla was acquitted of plunder and was released. His current legal battle stemmed from the accusation that he was involved in the anomalous flood control projects.

The former senator’s weight loss is noticeable. He has been detained since January 20 at the New Quezon City Jail in Payatas Road, Quezon City.
The anti-graft court postponed his arraignment to February 16, and it is because of the actor-politician’s pending motion related to his alleged ghost flood control project in Pandi, Bulacan, which is worth PHP92.8 million.

From that, the actor-politician and his fellow accused personalities were transferred to the Sandiganbayan Fourth Division for the arraignment of the graft case.
Bong Revilla refused to enter a plea. With this, the Sandiganbayan Fourth Division was the one that entered a “not guilty” plea for him.
Meanwhile, the supporters of Revilla conducted a prayer rally for him. People supporting him were also visible in showing their support on the day he surrendered.
