Senators Bong Go, Robin Padilla Reiterates Loyalty to Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte
BONG GO, ROBIN PADILLA
– The Senators reaffirmed that they are solid in the “Duterte bloc” in the Senate even if only three (3) of them will be left.
It is no secret to the public that some senators in the Senate are solid allies of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. The former Chief Executive is currently detained under the custody of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands.

Robin Padilla even previously led a signature campaign to call for the freedom of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte
. He was also one of the senators who were vocal over his support on the dismissal of the impeachment raps against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte.
Aside from Sen. Robin Padilla, another loyal ally of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte in the Senate is Sen. Bong Go. He was a long-time personal aide of the former President before he became a senator.
Sen. Bong Go was former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s special aide even when he was still mayor of Davao City. He’s also one of the senators who voted “yes” on archiving the impeachment complaint against the Vice President.

. According to him, he was with the former President more in the last 25 years compared to his own father.
Currently, both senators Go and Padilla are members of the minority bloc in the Senate. Presidential sister and Sen. Imee Marcos who aligns herself with the Dutertes is also part of the minority bloc in the chamber.
