Lady Netizen Expresses Dismay Over Extremely Long Lines at Government Offices in the Country
The lady netizen explained that she and her husband went to government offices early in the morning, hoping to complete simple updates to their records. The supposed quick task turned into hours of waiting.
Travel time alone already took up part of their morning, and once they arrived, the line continued to move painfully slow.
At one office, the couple waited for more than two hours just to reach the counter. The actual transaction, which only involved updating personal information, took less than five minutes to finish.
It made the long wait feel even more exhausting and frustrating. She also noticed that only a few clerks were handling a large number of people, which added to the delay.
Another issue she pointed out was how some individuals were still filling out required forms only when they were already called to the desk. This caused further slowdowns, as clerks had to wait for forms to be completed instead of assisting the next person in line.
In several hours of office operations, only a small number of applicants were processed by each clerk.
She also mentioned similar experiences at other government offices, where long lines, slow systems, and repeated requirements made even simple transactions feel overwhelming. For many citizens, these delays mean missed work, lost income, and added stress.

Akala namin ng asawa ko makakapag-member info status update kami sa SSS at Pagibig this morning. E jusko, sa SSS pa lang 2.5 hrs ang pila. Bale 30 minutes travel time + 2.5 hrs pila, tapos ang transaction namin na update lang ng marital status at beneficiary e wala pang 5 minutes ginawa nung clerk. Tangina talaga!! Bakit ba kasi ganito proseso sa pinas? Jusko nuknukan ng bagal!
Yung pila ng SSS ang haba na sa labas ng opisina tapos dadalawa lang yung clerk na nagha-handle ng member registration at information.
Nakakaloka rin yung mga taong nagfi-fill out nung kailangan na forms doon mismo sa desk ng clerk pag natawag na number nila. Totoo ba kayo?? Sa haba ng oras sa pila ngayon mo yan gagawin? Tapos sa span of 3 hours na bukas yung opisina 25 katao lang yung na-handle kada clerk.
