Response of Malacañang on Recent Accusation of VP Sara Duterte vs. Marcos Jr. Admin
It is no secret to the public that there are some senators in the 20th Congress who are solid allies of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte and his family. Their loyalty is evident even on issues against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte amid the political turmoil in the Philippine government now.

Robin Padilla who is one of the Duterte allies admitted that he wants a pro-Duterte Senate president
if the impeachment complaint against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte reaches the upper chamber. Three (3) impeachment raps were filed against the Vice President in the House of Representatives.
The two (2) impeachment complaints filed against Duterte have already been transmitted to the Office of House Speaker Bojie Dy. The Vice President is vocal that she and her camp already expected the filing of the impeachment complaints and even believe that it will allegedly keep on happening until her term ends.
An impeachment complaint against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte has reached the Senate before but it was archived after the Supreme Court ruled it as unconstitutional. Nineteen (19) senators voted in favor of archiving the impeachment rap against the Vice President then:

Recently, Vice Pres.
Sara Duterte claimed that she no longer talks to senators
. According to the Vice President, she noticed that the Marcos Jr. administration allegedly files case or threaten anyone who will talk to her.
“Hindi ko na nga kinakausap ‘yung mga senator kasi napapansin ko kapag mayroong kumakausap sa akin… binabanatan ng administrasyon — pina-file-an ng kaso, tine-threaten, hina-harass,”
the Vice President said.
The recent accusation of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte against the Marcos Jr. admin earned a response from Malacañang. Palace press officer undersecretary Claire Castro claimed that it is allegedly “another story telling a lie”.
