– Vice President Sara Duterte expressed her belief that the Chief Executive allegedly committed impeachable offenses.

The year 2026 was marked with the filing of multiple impeachment complaints against both Marcos Jr. and Duterte before the Office of the Secretary General of the House of Representatives. Two (2) impeachment raps were filed against the President and three (3) against the Vice President.

Respondent ordered and enabled the kidnapping and surrender of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Respondent is unfit to serve as President due to drug addiction.

Respondent committed betrayal of public trust when he failed to veto unprogrammed appropriations (UA) and other unconstitutional provisions in the General Appropriations Bill (GAB).

Respondent engaged in graft and corruption through kickbacks and ghost projects.

Respondent created the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) to shield corrupt allies.

Respondent violated the Constitution and betrayed public trust by surrendering former President Duterte to the ICC.

Shortly after the first rap was filed, the

Makabayan bloc confirmed that they are set to file another impeachment complaint against Marcos Jr

. They accused the President of alleged betrayal of public trust as well.

In the same day of February 2, two (2) impeachment complaints were filed against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. The first impeachment rap was filed by the members of the Makabayan coalition. The complaint was endorsed by party-list Reps. Antonio Tinio of the Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT), Sarah Jane Elago of Gabriela Women’s Party and Renee Louise Co of Kabataan.

The House Justice Committee junked the impeachment complaints against Pres. Bongbong Marcos due to insufficient substance. Recently, the

House affirmed the dismissal of two impeachment raps against Marcos Jr.

“Pinaka-una na impeachable offense ‘yung pagpirma ng budget na alam mong galing siya sa bill na may mga blanko at merong mga insertions,”

Previously, Senate Pres.

Tito Sotto claimed that the impeachment trial of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte should start immediately

in case the complaint reaches the Senate.
