Ahead of the Valentine’s Day, Malacañang Press Usec. Claire Castro Gives Message for VP Sara Duterte
CLAIRE CASTRO
– The Malacañang press officer Undersecretary gave a message for Vice President Sara Duterte for the Valentine’s Day.
There were instances in the past when Vice Pres. Sara Duterte and Palace Usec. Castro had exchanges of fiery statements. Both of them even stressed that they are not each other’s best friend citing their accusation towards each other’s alleged negative trait.

Sara Duterte previously claimed that Atty. Claire Castro is not her best friend
as she has no best friend that thinks the same way that the Malacañang press official does. The Palace official agreed to what the Vice President said.
According to Castro, she and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte cannot be best friends as she also does not think the way that the Vice President does. She also stressed that after she took and passed the BAR examination for lawyers, she became a trial lawyer.

Atty. Claire Castro further claimed that she and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte do not think the same way and she is not corrupt. According to her, her mindset is always focused on evidence.
“Hindi kami puwedeng parehong mag-isip at hindi rin po ako korap kaya hindi kami puwedeng maging pareho. Iba po kasi ‘yung mindset ko. Always evidence, always evidence… Hindi kasi ako korap, wala akong confidential funds. Kaya magkaiba kami,”
the Palace official said.

Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that Malacañang press officer undersecretary Claire Castro allegedly brings embarrassment to the country. According to her, she should allegedly not be heard or given attention to.
“Kapag ganoon ‘yung nagsasalita at ganoon ‘yung sinasabi ng nagsasalita ay nagdadala siya ng kahihiyan sa bayan natin,”
