He said it took him an hour to travel 18 kilometers because he had chosen a “scenic route” at the time.

It caught the attention of the MMDA general manager, who responded with an illustration of his schedule for that day.
“Eto sched ko sa araw na ‘yan, ma’am. Pasensya na, kailangan kong gising habang ginagawa ang trabaho ko. Are you speaking from experience in your work na nakahiga habang nagta-trabaho, then, pagkatapos ay diretso tulog?” Torre
Full-day schedule
The schedule showed a series of engagements, including a breakfast meeting, three courtesy calls, other meetings and a radio guesting, ending with a planned dinner.
Torre has been promoting biking as an alternative mode of transport since his appointment to the MMDA last month.
In previous posts, he said he had advocated cycling even during his time in the police service.
Torre was previously lauded for his initiative, with Filipinos commending him for leading by example.
