Robin Padilla had this reminder to his fellow politicians
Senator Robin Padilla stressed that the “ayuda” given by politicians came from the Filipino people’s taxes.
It is a normal scenario that relief goods are given to victims of calamities and disasters, and it is also normal that the names of politicians are plastered on these. At some point, politicians would even personally give the “ayuda” to their constituents.

Sen. Robin Padilla reminded his fellow politicians to stop owning the credits when giving relief goods.
” he said.
He stressed that the money used for this did not come from the pockets of public officials. “
” the actor-politician stressed.
Then, he said that Filipinos are the ones paying the salaries of public officials, and they tend to grab the credit from the people to care for those who are in need because of poverty and calamities.
” he said.
