Man Shot After Grabbing Microphone During Drinking Session at Videoke Bar
DRINKING SESSION – A man was shot after allegedly grabbing a microphone at a videoker bar in Tagum City, Davao del Norte.
A man was shot in the face by his drinking companion at a videoke bar during a karaoke session in Tagum City, Davao del Norte. The simple night out ended in chaos when a small misunderstanding leads into a serious crime.
According to reports, the victim and the suspect were enjoying drinks with a group of friends inside the videoke bar. While one of them was still singing, the victim suddenly grabbed the microphone from the person performing.
The action upset the suspect, who became visibly angry after seeing what happened.
People inside the bar panicked as the scene unfolded, and the victim was immediately rushed to the Davao Regional Medical Center. He remains under observation as doctors monitor his condition due to the severity of his injuries.
At the crime scene, authorities recovered a spent shell from a .45-caliber firearm, confirming the type of weapon used in the incident.
Authorities remind the public to stay calm in heated situations and to avoid letting alcohol-fueled emotions take over.
