A female elevator operator claimed that the political officer of Sen. Joel Villanueva did this
A political officer of Senator Joel Villanueva is currently in hot water because of an accusation from a female elevator operator.
In an incident report of the Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms, it was stated that Renato Judge “Jojo” Digao, Villanueva’s political officer, confronted elevator operator Jobelle Chavez Agravante at around 2 PM on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
Pabillore immediately went to the said area and asked Agravante what happened. It was said that Digao questioned Agravante with a raised voice regarding the push carts inside the VIP elevator. The elevator operator explained why that happened.
“She stated that Mr. Digao questioned her in a raised voice as to why were push carts being allowed inside the VIP elevator. She explained that only one elevator was operational at the time, since the two other elevator were under repair, which had caused long queues at the lobby,
” the incident report stated.
It was said that Agravante claimed that Digao shouted at her and said negative words, including “P*tang/na mo!” She also said that Sen. Joel Villanueva’s political officer continued to confront her until she exited the elevator.

After the incident, Agravante reported to LP Randy Estur. Reportedly, the office of Villanueva was asked to air their side regarding the incident. However, as of this writing, no statement has been released.
Meanwhile, the Senator has been in hot water these past months after his name was dragged into the anomalous flood control projects,
allegedly because he received kickbacks
. He strongly denied the accusation against him and even said that he is willing to open his bank accounts to prove his innocence.
