Cedrick Juan talked about working with Piolo Pascual
Award-winning actor Cedrick Juan admitted that he is under a lot of pressure when working with A-list actor Piolo Pascual, who is known as the Ultimate Leading Man.
Cedrick and Piolo have been together for three consecutive Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entries. The first one was GomBurZa (2023), “Mallari” (2023), and then, last year, in the movie The Kingdom.
This year, they have another project together. Cedrick is one of the cast members of Piolo and Enrique Gil’s MMFF entry “Manila’s Finest” from MQuest Ventures and Spring Films, based on the article in Bandera.

During the grand mediacon of this movie, Cedrick Juan admitted that he felt pressured when he worked with Piolo on “GomBurZa.”
The actor recalled the day he was called to do a script reading inside Piolo’s tent, “
Yun yung pressure sa akin. Kasi, I remember, I studied my script, for one and a half month,
“Kasi, nape-pressure na ako. Parang, ‘Oh, wow! Si PJ na yung kausap ko.’ Piolo pa ang tawag ko sa kanya, pero pini-PJ (palayaw ni Papa P) ko na siya. So, yon!”

Cedrick also said that Piolo served as their “kuya” on the set. This somehow eased the pressure that he felt, and the wall between them was no longer there.
“Kasi at the end of the day, we’re all actors and colleagues,”
