Senator Bato Dela Rosa is being monitored, according to the DILG chief.

Authorities are accordingly tracking Senator Bato Dela Rosa amid the rumors about his arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court (ICC).

According to reports, Senator Bato Dela Rosa is hiding amid the rumored arrest by the International Criminal Court (ICC). Amid the buzz, Senator

Robin Padilla advised Dela Rosa

not to surrender to the foreign powers.

Amid this, Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla confirmed that the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has been monitoring Dela Rosa, as they wanted to be steps ahead when it comes to this matter.

The agency has tapped local authorities to track down the senator, and in the past three weeks, he has been seen in six locations.

“In light of reports that an ICC warrant is forthcoming, we just want to be steps ahead, and we just want to make sure that we know where Senator dela Rosa is since he has not been seen in the Senate for some weeks now,”

Donnie Puno, DILG public affairs undersecretary, has said.

Despite being tracked down, he is not considered a fugitive, which is why they have to play it cool for now. The interior secretary expressed that they are still waiting for the court to issue an order for his arrest.

Dela Rosa has been absent from the Senate since November 11, and despite this absence, he is still paid.
