Aspin Dog in Valenzuela City Found Injured After Tongue Was Cut Off

An Aspin dog in Valenzuela City was found severely injured and bleeding after his tongue was cut off.

Rodlee Rivera-Zulueta, Kobe’s furparent said that the dog was last seen tied inside their compound. At some point, Kobe managed to break free without anyone noticing. When the family realized he was missing, they searched for him for more than two hours, hoping to find him safe.

Kobe was immediately brought to a veterinarian for urgent care. The vet explained that the injury was permanent and that his tongue could no longer be restored. Because of this, Kobe now has difficulty drinking water and will need special attention, as the heavy blood loss also left him very weak.

The animal welfare group PAWS expressed concern over the incident and described it as an act of extreme cruelty. They are now working closely with Kobe’s furparent, Ms. Rodlee Zulueta, to find out the details about the incident.

Kobe is known as a gentle and loving dog who never showed aggression. His furparent hopes that anyone with information about the incident will come forward.

Residents who may have seen or heard something unusual along Aratiles Street in Barangay Balangkas between 12:15 and 12:30 in the morning are encouraged to help. Even the smallest detail could be key to holding the person responsible accountable and preventing similar acts of cruelty in the future.
