Sen. Bato dela Rosa Absent in Senate Sessions for Month Now

Aside from Ombudsman Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla’s claim that the foreign court has allegedly issued an arrest warrant against the Senator, former presidential spokesman

Harry Roque also recently claimed that the ICC has allegedly issued an arrest warrant against Dela Rosa

and the Department of Justice and the Interior Department have supposedly received it.

Roque advised Dela Rosa not to allow his arrest and transfer of custody to the foreign court. The former spokesman of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte also told the Senator to seek sanctuary in the Supreme Court.

The Senator has always been vocal about his belief that he is allegedly the next target of the foreign court after Duterte. The former President remains detained under its custody in The Hague, Netherlands.

Sotto also confirmed that Dela Rosa remains paid as a senator despite his long absence in the chamber. According to Senate Finance Committee chairman Sherwin Gatchalian, the senators are not under a “no work, no pay” rule.
