Armed Group Pulled Out ATM at Supermarket Using Telehandler
An ATM machine was pulled out of a supermarket using a telehandler in a daring midnight robbery of an armed group.
Residents of Brooklands Square in Milton Keynes, England were left shocked after a bold robbery took place at a Sainsbury’s Local supermarket. An armed group reportedly used a stolen JCB telehandler to forcefully pull out an ATM machine from the front of the store in the middle of the night.
According to reports, the incident happened around 12:50 a.m. on October 26. The quiet area was suddenly disturbed when the suspects arrived at the supermarket wearing balaclavas. Video footage of the incident later showed how the group smashed the front of the store, causing visible damage as they focused on removing the cash machine.
Using the powerful telehandler, the suspects managed to drag the ATM out of the supermarket in just a short amount of time. Their actions appeared planned and fast, leaving little chance for anyone nearby to react.
After successfully pulling out the machine, the group loaded the ATM into another vehicle waiting nearby.
Many were surprised by the boldness of the crime and the heavy equipment used to carry it out.
Thames Valley Police confirmed that the incident is being investigated as a case of burglary. Authorities are now reviewing CCTV footage and online videos to identify the suspects involved.
They also appealed to the public for help, encouraging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or captured additional footage to come forward.
