Fiancé of Missing Bride-to-Be Named as Person of Interest by QCPD
The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) has identified the fiancé of a missing bride-to-be as a person of interest.
The authorities consider the fiancé of a missing bride-to-be as a person of interest in the ongoing search for Sherra de Juan, who disappeared in Quezon City just days before her planned wedding.
Police clarified that this step is part of standard procedure and does not mean that the fiancé is being treated as a suspect.
According to QCPD, Sherra’s fiancé, Mark Arjay Reyes, was named a person of interest because he was the last known person to be with her before she went missing. Authorities explained that being a person of interest simply means someone may have important information that could help investigators understand the incident.
It does not automatically suggest any involvement in her disappearance.
Sherra was reported missing on December 10, only four days before she and Reyes were supposed to get married. She was last seen around 1:30 in the afternoon at a gas station in North Fairview.
At the time, she was wearing black pants, a jacket, and a top, and was carrying a tumbler and a small coin purse. Since then, her family and loved ones have been waiting anxiously for any sign of her whereabouts.
Police have also stated that, so far, there are no clear signs pointing to foul play, but the investigation remains active and ongoing.
Reyes also increased the reward to P150,000 for anyone who can provide reliable information that will lead to Sherra’s location. Authorities and the family continue to appeal to the public for assistance, reminding everyone that even small details may be helpful.
