In a hilarious moment, a student was knocked over by the powerful recoil of a fire hose during a training exercise.

Leslie Salud and her classmate, both dressed in heavy personal protective equipment, were performing a fire simulation as part of their work immersion program in Davao.

Footage shows Salud  gripping the hose and directing the stream onto the road while her friend stands behind her for support on December 14.

However, when the instructor turned the water flow to full pressure, Salud began to struggle to hold the line.

The intense water pressure caused the teenager to fall backwards onto the ground as her classmate scrambled to stabilize her. Seeing the hose go haywire, the fireman in charge quickly shut off the water.

Salud was left lying on her side, visibly exhausted, while her classmates burst into laughter at the comical mishap.

“The equipment was extremely heavy and challenging to move around in. But despite the weight, the experience was fun and full of valuable lessons,” Salud said.
