Married Couple After House Catches Fire During Heated Argument
Based on police findings, the 37-year-old husband and his 51-year-old wife had been drinking together before the situation escalated. Both were reportedly intoxicated when a verbal argument broke out.
During the argument, the man allegedly grabbed kerosene and poured it onto the floor of their living room. Authorities believe he intended to scare his wife and did not expect the situation to get out of control.
However, while holding a lighter, the fuel was accidentally ignited, causing the flames to spread rapidly across the room.
The fire grew so fast that the couple had no chance to escape in time. Both suffered severe burns on different parts of their bodies as the living room was engulfed in flames. Despite his injuries, the husband managed to bring himself and his wife to the hospital for emergency treatment.
