LTO Suspends License of Driver After Showing Aggressive Behavior in Bulacan
The Land Transportation Office has suspended the driver’s license of a Ford Ranger driver after showing an aggressive behavior on the road.
The incident happened in Barangay Paliwas, Obando, Bulacan, and quickly caught public attention due to the risk it posed to others.
Based on the initial investigation, the video showed the driver of a Ford Ranger, which carried a government-owned license plate, allegedly throwing a bicycle on the road. The act was seen as deliberate and dangerous, especially since it happened in an area where other motorists and pedestrians were present.
Many viewers online expressed concern over how quickly a road situation turned into a serious safety issue.
Ang naturang insidente ay nagdulot ng panganib sa kaligtasan ng iba pang mga motorista at publiko na maituturing na paglabag sa umiiral na mga batas at regulasyon sa trapiko,
” the agency said.
The step is meant to prevent further harm and remind drivers of their responsibility on the road.
The LTO has ordered both the vehicle owner and the driver to appear before the agency’s Intelligence and Investigation Division at its central office in Quezon City on January 5, 2026. They were also asked to submit a sworn explanation to clarify their side and explain why they should not be held responsible for possible administrative charges.
These include reckless driving and allowing an improper person to operate a motor vehicle.
While the case is being reviewed, the Ford Ranger involved has been placed under alarm, meaning it cannot be legally transferred or used without clearance from the LTO.
Authorities continue to urge all drivers to remain calm, respect others, and remember that safe driving protects not only themselves but everyone sharing the road.
