Bongbong Marcos’ Message to Godchildren Goes Viral

BONGBONG MARCOS – President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sparked smiles online after sharing a candid and humorous message for his godchildren ahead of the holiday season.

According to him, the list has grown quite long over the years, making it difficult for anyone to go unnoticed during the holiday season.

Bongbong Marcos further noted that modern technology has made gift-giving more convenient, especially for those who may not see or regularly communicate with their godchildren. Marcos suggested using digital platforms to send gifts, emphasizing how easy it has become compared to traditional methods.

The President’s remarks align with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ (BSP) recent call for the public to consider giving cash gifts digitally this Christmas season. On Monday, December 22, the BSP encouraged Filipinos to shift to “e-aguinaldo” as a safer and more convenient alternative to physical cash.

“The BSP also encourages the public to use digital or e-money as cash gifts to their godchildren, family, and friends. Using e-wallets and online banking offers a safer and more convenient way to send cash gifts during the Christmas season,”

Beyond holiday greetings and gift-giving, Malacañang also revealed that President Marcos will remain busy throughout the holiday season. Palace officials previously said that the President will forgo a Christmas break to closely study the proposed national budget for 2026, underscoring his commitment to government work even during the festivities.

Despite the holiday season, the President’s message reflects both the warmth of Filipino Christmas traditions and the evolving role of technology in modern celebrations.
